10 Event Stands are available to borrow from the landfill and use to collect bottles and cans.  You can then take those items to the redemption center or to be recycled.

The Solid Waste Management Commission of Marshall County, on behalf of Marshall County Landfill, was awarded an EMS Grant for $5,319 to purchase and install 3 recycling roll-off containers at Marshall Co. Landfill.  Marshall County can currently accept #1, #2, and #5 plastics and tin, glass, paper, and cardboard.  All items need to be clean as they are hand-sorted.  Flattening your cardboard and smashing plastic items do help when you have limited space for storage.  Residents can recycle curbside with their local hauler, or bring out up to 4 containers to the landfill for a $5 fee.  Businesses are encouraged to contact the landfill to learn about their recycling options.
