Iowa Valley Continuing Education holds a poster contest for students in grades K through 5th. 

• The theme for the contest will be “Celebrate Recycles Day Everyday”.
• The poster must be 8-1/2  by 11 inches or 9 by 12 inches in the horizontal position.
• The work must be original, creative, and your own work.
•  Entries must have your name, address, phone number, grade, school name, classroom teacher’s name and parent/guardian listed on the back.
•  Entries must be postmarked or delivered by October 5, 2012 to the Marshall County Landfill, 2313 Marshalltown Blvd., P.O. Box 217 Marshalltown, IA. 50158 or to call Pam Blake, Iowa Valley Continuing Education, 3702 S. Center Street, Marshalltown, IA. 50158.

A calendar will be made from 13 winning poster. A grand prize winner will have their poster on the cover of the calendar. Prizes will be awarded to the winners on November 15th in the evening. Have fun doing your poster and get ready to celebrate “America Recycles Day”!
